Home NAS Backup is a personal backup utility used only by its owner. It is not offered as a service to other people.
The utility requests the drive.file permission. Its configuration uses this permission to create, upload, read, and verify backup files and folders created by this app in the owner's Google Drive. It does not request access to all existing Drive files.
Kopia encrypts backup contents on the owner's device before rclone transfers them to Google Drive. Google stores the resulting backup files under the owner's account. Credentials and authentication tokens are stored on the owner's devices and are not published on this website.
The utility does not sell backup data or use it for advertising or AI training. The information pages contain no analytics scripts or advertising. Their hosting provider may process ordinary web request information, such as IP addresses and request times, to serve these pages.
The owner can stop backup transfers, revoke this app's access through Google Account settings, and manage backup files in Google Drive. Questions can be directed to the support email shown on the app's Google consent screen.
